About Me
Hello and welcome!
My experience as a licensed therapist, nurse and midwife, has provided me the unique perspective and understanding of the needs of the Whole Individual and how our thoughts, beliefs and experiences impact us emotionally, psychologically and physically. My intention is to support and guide women and men as they explore and challenge what holds them back and to help them live a more fulfilling life with vision, hope, appreciation and acceptance. Together, we will work through feelings of confusion, doubt or fear that may interfere with living life fully.
My professional and personal life experiences have assured me that incredible transformations are possible during difficult times of transition. I have supported and guided many women, men, couples and families as they met crossroads in their lives. Many life decisions are challenged by indecision, anxiety and depression when one is confronted with significant life stressors including: career choices, financial burden, commitment or adjustment to relationships, marriage, parenting, divorce, as well as medical conditions including: cancer, grief and loss, aging, addiction, infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery. I provide a safe, confidential office to work through these challenges as well as video calls, and home session options. At the present time, all sessions are virtual/telehealth through my confidential client portal.

Pregnancy/Postpartum & Women's Health
I've dedicated my life's work to providing guidance to women and their partners and families.
My background in medicine, nursing and midwifery, coupled with my degree in psychology, and additional training as a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator and Certificate in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, provides me with a broad understanding of the physical and psychological issues that women, men and families face during transitions, especially as new lives enter their world. In Partnering to Parenting, I provide guidance and support through the entire experience from commiting to a relationship to decisions and challenges of starting a family. Stress from infertility, pregnancy, birth and the postpartum adjustment are common experiences. It is completely normal to question your new identity, role and responsibility when becoming a parent and to struggle with balancing personal, parental and professional needs and responsibilities.
I offer office and home sessions for Childbirth Preparation and Postpartum Adjustment, as individual sessions or a series of 4 sessions: 2 before birth and 2 after birth, including: Childbirth Education, Preparation for Birth and Recovery, Transitioning Home with a New Baby, and Life Balance: Managing Personal, Professional and Parenting Expectations and Roles. Honoring the challenges of traveling to the office, I offer individualized teletherapy and home sessions. All sessions are virtual/telehealth at the present time, utilizing my confidential client portal.
